Ann. Méd. Vét., 2001, 145 (5), pp 307 - 310 Invasive aspergillosis in psittacine birds.
LAGNEAU P.-E., HOUTAIN J.-Y.Abstract :
The authors report four cases of aspergillosis by psittacine birds, that dieded after strong respiratory distress and submitted for necropsy. We detected by culture Aspergillus fumigatus and A. terreus. The species terreus is now implicated in veterinary medicine. The aspergillosis must be evocated in case of resistance to treatment.
